Cattle Classes 2011 Details

Latest date for Entries: Wednesday April 27th - No Entries after that date
Entry Fee:- €10.00 in all Classes
Entry Fees will not be refunded in the case of animals entered and later withdrawn
Judging Commences - 12.30pm Sharp
Milking Classes starts at 2.30 p.m. sharp
N.B. 5% of Prize Money deducted in accordance with I.S.A. Rules
| All Animals must come from herds which are not restricted and the herd and relevant animals must have had a clear test, within the T.B. & Brucellosis Test Limit laid down by the Department -i.e.Certain animals i.e. females over 18 months and bulls over 24 months must have passed a test for Brucellosis within the previous 60 days ·
There is no pre-movement test required for T.B - However it is recommended by the Department that a 30-day pre-movement test for T.B. should apply to all Shows.
All Bovines must bear double plastic tags as issued under the Department’s Identification system and must be accompanied by their Passports. |

Rules & Conditions:-
1. The Competition is confined to animals weighing not less than 700 kgs on day of
Stokestown Show.
2. All bullocks will be weighed prior to judging of Final.
2 One steer may qualify from each selected show; if the standard is insufficient no
steer may qualify.
3 All animals must be lead by a competent adult.
4 These rules should be read in conjunction with The Irish Shows Association
rules.

Rules & Conditions:-
1. This competition is open to male non-pedigree calves born in 2010
2 Entries to this category may compete in other classes at Kilgarvan Show
3 No restrictions on number of animals exhibited by any individual owner, two
calves may qualify at each show if the standard is high enough.
4 All animals must enter ring without rosettes.
5 These rules should be read in conjunction with the I.S.A rules.
